Infinity Glass Necklace
A hand formed 'boro' glass infinity symbol hanging from a silver plated trace chain and lobster clasp fastening.
'Boro' or borosilicate, is scientific glass, the same as pyrex and is used for lab equipment and is classed as hard glass. It can only be melted with a very high heat (approx 820 degrees c)
The rod of boro used to make the glass piece is solid and approx 5mm in diameter. It is manipulated in the flame with stainless steel tweezers into the infinity shape.
Sterling silver findings are available upon request.
